This beautiful girl came into the studio for her newborn session at 28 days old with her Mother and Grandmother and we created some beautiful generational portraits for them to enjoy. I know Noa is just loved by her family and it was my honour to capture her image at this young age. They grow up so fast!

I like to start with a wrapped portrait for most of my newborn sessions as it helps baby’s get used to their new environment. Noa looked so comfy-cozy in this pretty silver wrap and headband on this rich navy blue flokati rug all from the Jennifer Willard Photography Prop Collection. I loved that Mom wanted this colour combination because it’s not a traditional girl combination but definitely should be! We have so many blue props and are just waiting for this amazing trend to start!
Next up we created an earthy set that was similar to another portrait that Noa’s Mom had seen in my portfolio. We added some greenery and continued that colour in the wrap and bonnet we included to change the set up a bit. She seriously looked so adorable and dreamed big dreams on that soft fur.
This beautiful pink blanket is a favourite among parents and is specifically asked for often for the little girls that come into the studio. We paired with some pretty pink flowers to give it a Spring time feeling.
Added in that pretty blue again and Noa didn’t want to miss a thing!
We ended Noa’s individual baby portraits on this grey blanket and added some soft touches to round out the look.
Then we made some magic that I know this family will be in love with for years to come – a 3 generational portrait with Mom and Grandma. I just love this series of images and I know they are going to be printed big and on display in a loving spot in their homes.
