This fun family session took place in October when we were enjoying beautiful Fall weather and the colours on the trees were just changing.  I was so happy to capture Jacqui’s family with some people read leaves behind them.  Their daughter had fun walking around the park and getting tossed in the air by dad – isn’t that what dad’s are the best for?!!  I know my kids love when my husband throws them in the air… I have to admit I’m too weak to throw them up LOL!

Enjoy a look at my favourites from our time together!

Taking family portraits in the park allows families the freedom to move around, get their silly’s out and get a variety of backdrops that can add interest to a portfolio.

Jennifer Willard Photography is available to photograph your family in the Kingston, Brockville and Perth Ontario areas.  Jennifer tries to create an easy, relaxed atmosphere for children so that she can capture their genuine smiles and big belly laughs.

To look at family’s with genuine smiles check out the family photography portfolio gallery.  There is a wide variety of locations, time of year and family dynamics to look at so that you can get a sense of what your family portraits may look like.  Family portraits are encouraged to take place early in the morning or two hours before sunset to ensure the best light for your photographs.  Beautiful portraits take some preparations and this may include advice on what type of clothing photographs well (for example neon is usually a big no-no as it doesn’t print very well).  If you would like to learn more about family portraits you can check out the investment page and to book your session in you can contact Jennifer directly through the contact page.  Please share your vision for your session when inquiring and the ages of your children.
