What a fantastic time Blaine and I had at Chemaine and John’s Wedding! They are a super sweet couple and an obvious perfect match for each other. Chemaine’s calm and reserved and John’s cooky and a little wild…totally reminds me of Blaine and me LOL.
They chose our package with the most hours so we had tons of time to get pictures. We started with getting ready shots at the Parkside Inn and Spa in Perth, Ontario (the ceremony and reception site as well). Their suites are fabulous and so spacious and their recent renovations really make this hotel a 5 star resort. Blaine went to the Groom’s camp and I stayed with the ladies. Of course while the girls were busy getting ready the boys were golfing LOL!
Chemaine had on one of the most beautiful dresses I had ever seen! The crystal detailing was just gorgeous and it was definitelt a match for her – classic and elegant. We took our pictures in the suite and then it was time for the ceremony.
The ceremony was held outside on the steps overlooking Stewart Park. It was an elegant affair with flute players but was kept lively with the Bride’s nephew entertaining us all. The Groom was just beaming when he saw his Bride and Chemaine was glowing!
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom opted to greet each guest with a warm hug rather than walking down the aisle together which perfectly suited this intimate affair.
Pictures in Stewart Park are always fantastic, how lucky are we that we have this wonderful greenspace in our backyards! We had so much extra time that we could have spent 2 hours doing the Bride and Groom shots alone but the happy couple opted to join their guests for cocktail hour instead. It gave them more time to visit family that traveled from all across North America to be here 🙂
The reception was fabulous! Held in the glass enclosed room there was tons of light streaming in and it was fabulous to have a separate lounge and ballroom that flowed together seamlessly so guests could wander, sit and chat and dance the night away!
