12 day old Amari is the sweetest little girl and I was so honoured to create beautiful portraits for her Mom and Grandmother.

This beautiful baby girl’s Cradle Board was lovingly handmade by family including her Grandmother who created that stunning beadwork and her Mama who painted the back. It was an amazing piece of heirloom art and it was fascinating to watch them put Amari into it. She was so snug and happy and sleepy in it.

I love when clients bring in heirloom items because those portraits mean so much to them. This stunning item is part of their Mohawk heritage and it was my honour to take these portraits for them.

We also created a beautiful flower set that looked so darling around Amari.  I love her toes together in that picture.

And our final set was a pink blanket set that Mom asked for.  And of course Amari rocked that set as well!

Here are a few of the portraits from our time together.
