Candice and Jesse had a fun engagement session at Lake Ontario Park where we had yummy light, good laughs practicing those kisses for their wedding day and the makings of a beautiful friendship as we got to know each other before their wedding took place. Outdoor sessions typically take place between April and November in and around Kingston, Ontario, Canada but clients have been known to make the trek outdoors to enjoy the sunshine and snow when weather permits. As a Kingston Maternity Photographer, Jennifer knows that her job is to capture the joy and anticipation of parenthood that each parent has. As a boutique Kingston Newborn Photographer, Jennifer’s goal is to create sets that match each client’s colour theme while ensuring that baby is the focus. Trained by two of the top newborn photographers in North America, Caralee Case and Jennifer Nace, Jennifer prides herself on her ability to create a new and unique set for each newborn baby while making safety a top priority. While she loves using various colours to enhance each set, she is also drawn to organic natural sets and is equally sought after for both types of set design.
As a Kingston Baby Photographer, Jennifer uses her eye for detail and design to create both fun and whimsical portrait sets as well as simple, organic sets so that baby shines through each milestone. Jennifer recommends booking milestone portraits at 3-4 months old (lifting head well), 6-7 months old (sitting unassisted), 9-10 months old (full of expression but not walking yet), and 12-13 months old for first year birthday pictures that can include the optional cake smash.
As a Kingston Children Photographer, Jennifer loves getting to know each child by asking questions about their daily life so they open up and trust Jennifer, which in turn allows the session to be fun and relaxing. Taking portraits of each child as they grow and placing those portraits on the wall has been proven to enhance confidence in each child and as a child advocate, Jennifer wants to see each child she photographs succeed in a happy, healthy life. Jennifer has photographed over 400 children since opening her studio in 2011.
As a Kingston Family Photographer, Jennifer enjoys getting to know each family she meets, sharing parenting stories and getting to the heart of the family to create a relaxed and fun photoshoot.
