It was so great to see Maggie and her family again for her Maternity Photography Photoshoot! I first met this wonderful family when Jacob was just 6 months old and now look how big he is! Jacob had a great time with Mom and Dad having fun and celebrating Mom’s pregnant belly! I’m sure he’s going to be a great big brother!
Take a look at some of their favourite portraits from our time together:
Jacob was quite the ham for our first set which was on a plain white backdrop. This family LOVES their Hunter Boots and are excited to pass down their beloved red pair to the new baby! So we definitely had to incorporate them into our time together. It was fun to have the session focus on Jacob a little bit as he’s having a baby too!
I like when clients have one casual outfit to go along with any fancier outfits they may incorporate so that they can have fun with kids on the ground if they need to.
Set two was a three quarter length light blue ruffle dress that Maggie felt fantastic in from the Jennifer Willard Photography (JWP) prop collection. We created some intimate portraits of husband and wife and celebrated the joy of boy #2 coming soon. We used the same basic white set so they could be the star.
Set three was the same white set but we brought in a slim fit navy blue off the shoulder custom made gown from the JWP prop collection that looked just gorgeous on Maggie. Often clients are not sure if they will want to go with something so elegant as part of their outfit changes but once it’s on clients are in love with it! This is your one chance to Glam It Up for your custom Maternity photography session and I say this is the time to Go Big! Enjoy every second of it and feel incredible!!!
Set four started with the incredible navy blue dress on a dark background which gave it a totally different feel. We included Maggie’s husband and were able to capture real, genuine smiles which is so important to me! Real emotion is such an integral part of the portraits I create and I was so thrilled to capture these moments for them.
Our final set was a quick change to one of my favourite JWP prop collection gowns, a gorgeous black lace number that is full of intricate detail. We have one in black and in mauve and they photograph beautifully. Maggie was just glowing in this dress and I’m so happy she picked this portraits as one of her favourites as it’s one of mine too!
