Bennett was a champ at his newborn photography session!  We were able to capture a lot of fantastic portraits – some of my favourites ever!  I just loved all of his hair and squishy cheeks and little lips…okay so i loved everything about him!  And his big brothers were so excited about the session too!  Mom looked absolutely gorgeous and was just glowing with pride for her three boys – I could tell she is devoted to those boys with all her heart.

Enjoy a look at some of my favourites from our portrait session together!

As a Kingston Newborn Photographer I am so humbled and honoured to be chosen among countless other photographers to photograph these special new babies.  I love that my clients value high quality photography with great lighting and the use of props that enhance rather than distract from their baby’s perfection.  Clients are often amazed at how much work goes into a newborn session, from getting every position perfectly posed in a prop or on a blanket to helping to soothe crying eyes.  Sessions often last 3-4 hours as we don’t want to rush a newborn.  As a mom who breastfed and used formula, I understand that feeding takes time, soothing takes time and we need to give these precious baby’s the time they need in order to feel calm, peaceful and ready for their close up.  I feel so blessed to be able to capture beautiful portraits of these sweet new babes and create artwork that shows off their beautiful details that I know will be cherished for years by not only their moms and dads but their grandparents, siblings and ultimately the babies themselves when they are older.  I encourage each client to choose an heirloom product to preserve these memories as cd’s can often fail with time and technology is ever-evolving.  Tangible memories are what is passed down, which is why I offer both tangible, high-quality products as well as digital images for archival purposes.  It’s the best of both worlds and being a full service boutique portrait studio is important to me.  I want clients to print their portraits, not only because I am proud of my work as an artist but because parents are happier for seeing their little ones faces on their walls, children gain confidence and feel valued and it creates a homey atmosphere that you will never go out of style.

If having high-quality products showcased in your home with your most treasured portraits on them sounds like exactly what you are looking for, then I encourage you use the contact page and start the planning process with telling me why a portrait session would mean so much to you.  I would feel so honoured to get to know you and your family and create stunning imagery of your family.  xoxo
