Remi Rose came into the studio just before Christmas, one of my last newborn photography sessions before the Christmas lockdown. She was so sleepy for me and we had a lot of fun creating sets based on Mom’s chosen colour palette of pinks, sage greens, and creams. I had just received this beautiful red velvet pillow and gorgeous red halo with greenery and little red bows on it, the perfect Christmas set and desperately wanted to try it out, and because she was sleeping so soundly I was able to use the extra bonus set I had created to show those new props off.
Remi had the cutest plump cheeks and pretty eyelashes and I just loved creating these sets for her. These were some of Mom’s favourite portraits from our time together. We started our session with this wonderful set of Remi in a sage green textured wrap with pretty flower headband in mint, sage and teal with all those pretty details. I paired it with a knit layer blanket from one of my favourite vendors, Bailey’s Knits, and it matched perfectly with this mint bowl from Oh So Savvy Props. All part of the Jennifer Willard Photography Prop Collection.
Next we moved on to our blanket set in a blush pink hue and paired it with sagey-mint wrap, beige mohair wrap, pink cheesecloth wrap and headbands from my fave vendor Little Bird Photography Props. Started with side lying pose.
moved onto this back pose when she woke up for a few minutes and added these cute stars.
This mohair wrap is a fave and this pretty flower halo headband looked perfect with Remi in what photographers call the bum up pose.
Next we created this head on hands pose with darling little bow headband.
Remi looked adorable wrapped up in this sage green wrap on pink flokati rug with sage and mint bow headband.
And our bonus pose because she was so sleepy was on this green blanket with red wrap and velvet pillow and this beautiful red flower and greenery halo. I was so excited and Mom was too!
