What is Love? Love is the smell of a newborns skin, the smile you get from your toddler, the way you feel when you are surrounded by your loved ones. I feel love all around me right now. My children bring me joy. My husband brings me support in an otherwise hectic world.
Grey and Ruby were willing participants in my Valentine’s Day shoot…well candy bribes for Grey made him a willing participant but hey whatever works right?
I’m so happy I was able to get them together and finally get a shot that I wanted of the two of them…when your toddler is “TOO BUSY” to let you take their picture, a day like this one fills your heart with happiness. Ruby didn’t cry and Grey stuck around as long as he could get a picture with his best friend Miles (the cat). Grey walks in the door everyday or gets up every morning and literally says “Where’s Miles?” and then finds him and proceeds to give him a big hug or sit on him…yes you read that correctly! Our cat is probably the only cat in history that will let someone sit on him or rough house him…it’s his own fault, if he didn’t like it he should jump on a counter like any other normal cat! lol.. the words “Be Gentle” are thrown around a lot in our household when it comes to our cat.
Anyways, I wanted to share a little love and I hope you share a little love with your own kiddies this week and every week.
