What an amazing first twin newborn experience! These two were perfect angels start to finish during their session, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have to admit I was a little nervous. With any newborn there is always a chance that they will be awake alot or be the complete opposite and be super sleepy…it’s really the luck of the draw and what you do with the time you have with them. This brother and sister pair were sleeping beauties almost the whole time…we were done in under 3.5 hours and got tons of variety. A lot of that was because they were born a few weeks early and then I saw them when they were less than 2 weeks old.
We used different blankets to create a really classic and clean look and I also threw in a basket at the end. I normally love props but I also discuss those options with the parents when they are here.
Theo and Lucie were given this session as a gift from their mama’s co-workers, and what an amazing gift that is! I love that they were fans of my page and that the entire school got behind celebrating these two little ones. They will cherish these images when they are older, their parents will look back at this time as a blur but will have these photographs to reflect back on the beginning of their whirlwind life with the best thing that ever happened to them.
It was a pleasure to meet these two miracle babies and I hope to see them again when they get older.
