Tanya and Geoff’s Wedding was full of romance.  They were married at the Perth Manor Boutique Hotel with soft lighting and old school charm.  It’s a magical place set for a princess and Tanya represents the modern day one, tattoos and all.  I loved her tattoos! They looked amazing with her dress.  And she looked GORGEOUS!!!!  The Bridesmaids were a group of wonderful girls and the groomsmen were seriously all very good looking, at least that’s what I heard from the ladies {I’m married remember ;p} …. Geoff looked very dashing in his suit and he was all smiles waiting for his bride.  You could see the love shine when they saw each other for the first time and I just loved their energy!

Relaxed and easy going are great words to describe this couple.  They wanted fly on the wall photography, as they are pretty camera shy, so we got a few formal shots but really they just wanted my husband Blaine and I to document the day as it unfolded.  And document we did.  There were a lot of laughs and high spirits from the small number of guests that attended the ceremony and there were tears when mom played a specially written song on her violin for the new Bride and Groom.

After our formal pictures the Bride and Groom and their family and friends all took a bus to Temples.  Temples is such a fantastic venue run by some fantastic people!  If you haven’t checked it out yet I highly recommend you do 🙂  The couple continuing with their low-key affair went with the cocktail reception and no first dance…but that doesn’t mean the Bride didn’t boogy on the dance floor!   She kicked it old school with her family during the YMCA and that was so much fun to photograph.

The big hit I think was the photobooth.  It was our first time setting it up and the guests had a blast playing with the props and making goofy faces.  We even had Grandpa join in the fun!

Thank you so much Tanya and Geoff for inviting us to capture your special day.  It was an honour to photograph you both.  Enjoy the sneak peeks!!!

Love Always,

Jen
