It was great meeting sweet little Sophie and her parents Lyndsay and Ryan this past weekend. They wanted to celebrate Sophie’s upcoming 1st birthday with a few family portraits and a mini session is a great way to do that!
We started at my in-home studio where I got to see just how photogenic this family is first hand! Sophie is just on the verge of walking so she wasn’t much on sitting but we were able to get the up close face shots her mama really wanted.
It was a beautiful day so we headed out to Stewart Park to get some great shots there with a bit more variety to the backgrounds. Plus who doesn’t love using trees, benches and beautiful iron gates as backdrops? 🙂 I took WAY too many pictures for just a mini session {I couldn’t help it with faces like that!} so it was really hard to narrow down my favourites. But here’s a sneak peek for you all to enjoy!
A mini session is a great way to get some family portraits at a certain time of year. A little celebration, a date night, fall foliage, whatever the reason, it’s a lot of fun!
